New ebooks from 5th of May 2023 onwards (also separate from website's online pages/content)
Five new ebooks are published below on this page.
All ebooks published through www.bookofdunbarra.co.uk were published from the UK
Firstly, below is an ebook titled: A guide to some Nordic languages, consisting of some of my work from before December 2022, including material never before published. Published on the 5th of May 2023. This includes the content from A wee guide to Trøndersk, Faroese, and some other North-Germanic languages, but after edits, and with many more sections added into this new ebook alongside the already published material. The new sections in this ebook were not written recently but rather several years ago, hence the title of this book refers to work from before December 2022. This book contains 74 pages.
Note: I forgot to mention on the cover page that Miranda Metheny let me use a couple of her photos of the Faroe Islands, Føroyjar, I do however mention this at the top of the relevant section within the book :)
Below is a new ebook, titled A study of ancient languages, history and consciousness, published on the 5th of June 2023. This book contains 487 pages. This book consists of the book Ancient languages and their connections, second edition, the Land of Pink Sky, with edits made, plus over a hundred pages of new material which has not previously been published in any of my books, nor archived in any way, much of which pertains to spirituality, with other material pertaining to ancient language and cognates.
Below is a new ebook with 95 pages, titled: Gaelic dialects, language connections and other topics pertaining to language, published on the 20th of June 2023. This book includes the edited content from two previous books as well as new material, including on Tiree with Gaelic field notes (separate from the online section about Tiree Gaelic on the Book of Dunbarra website, 17: notes on Tiree Gaelic). The two previous books are titled:
.Northern Dialects of Scottish Gaelic, with sections on other Celtic languages and upon indigenous American languages
.A journey of languages around the Northern Seas with discussions on Germanic Celtic and Salishan languages second edition
For the sense of making things clearer, the contents sections of these older books were originally included at the bottom of this web page as the new book did not have enough room to explain in detail the content of these sections. However, in the new book, published below, these parts of the contents are included in the book, as this new book, titled An exploration of Gaelic dialects, other languages, and other sections including the missing Omniglot article, includes the edited material from this book Gaelic dialects, language connections and other topics pertaining to language, as well as previously unpublished material.
Below is a new ebook, titled An exploration of Gaelic dialects, other languages, and other sections including the missing Omniglot article. It contains the re-edited book posted above, titled Gaelic dialects, language connections and other topics pertaining to language, plus additional, previously unpublished material. This book contains 114 pages and was published on the 12th of July 2023.
Below is a new ebook, titled: Guanche pyramids in northwest Tenerife parts 1 and 2, the symbolism of the dragon tree, and Guanche etymologies, the fourth to last book published via bookofdunbarra. This book was published on August the 16th 2023 (republished on the 17th of August 2023 with minor changes), and then finally again on the 19th of August with some final changes (this is the final version given below, published on the 19th of August 2023. This book contains 35 pages. This book contains extensive information and with many photos, about potential pyramid structures in northwestern Tenerife, specifically around the town of Icod de los Vinos, including their GPS coordinates, followed by further information regarding Guanche traditions, and the dragon tree, Dracaena Draco, and its important and fascinating symbolism, followed by a section of Guanche vocabulary.
Note that this is the fourth to last book published via this website, www.bookofdunbarra.co.uk and this is also a part of the book's official title.
Note that, the pyramids in this book are, and are described as being close to the town of Icod de los Vinos; but within the book there is also a section specifically about The Icod de los Vinos pyramids which refers specifically to a group of pyramids close to the centre of Icod de los Vinos, and thus the title Icod de los Vinos pyramids in that relevant section is referring to something more specific than the "whole" inclusion of the many pyramids that are around Icod de los Vinos, and are given named according to their local in the region, eg. Santa Bárbara, La Manchita etc. The Icod de los Vinos pyramids section in the book thus only refers to those pyramids close to the town centre of Icod de los Vinos as opposed to the fact that all the pyramids in the book are in the region of Icod de los Vinos.
The previous versions of this ebook published in the few days before the 19th of August were downloaded a couple of hundred times, thus there will be several copies of this ebook around that are not updated, but the 19th of August version is the official version. Note that this book was published after I published a "third to last" book via a different website, which is completely separate from this book; whereas this book below is the fourth to last via the bookofdunbarra website specifically, and not via the other website.
